Verse 1:
watching as the summer sun slides on to autumns angled rays
long and draw out summer hours give in to winter's shorter days
a peaceful slumber for the bushes, plants and trees

rest your arms and come to me

changing of the seasons and my life revolves as well
anticipation rises and it's as if we're all under a spell
the ebb and neap tides on the oceans and the seas

the earth continues it's ponderous path across our speck of milky way
fate and chance conspire to place the moon in the shadow of the earth today
the air is crisp and clear awaiting what I'll see
